Howdy! I'm Yash Doshi. I thrive at the intersection of technology and human impact, translating complex data into actionable business solutions and bridging the gap between technical teams and their stakeholders.
My journey began during my undergraduate studies in Information Technology, where I built a strong theoretical foundation in everything from database management to cloud engineering. This academic knowledge created the perfect launchpad for my internship as a Data Analyst, where theory was immediately put into practice. It wasn't just about writing scripts or building dashboards; it was about transforming raw, messy system logs into a clear narrative within a professional setting. I learned that data integrity isn't just a technical goal - it's the foundation of trust for every business decision. When I developed systems that improved operational data accuracy, I saw firsthand how a clean data stream could empower an entire organization and lead to better, faster decisions.
But I quickly realized that even the most elegant technical solution is useless if it doesn't connect with people. This drove me to take on leadership roles during my studies, like serving as the Placement and Internship Coordinator for my peers. This was a different kind of system to manage - one made of aspirations, anxieties, and ambitions. I became the liaison between students and numerous companies, learning to manage stakeholder expectations, organize large-scale events, and communicate complex information with empathy and clarity. It taught me that the most important interface is the human one.
These dual experiences - deep in the technical weeds of my internship and out in front with people in my leadership roles - are what led me to the MS-MIS program at Mays. I'm here to deepen my ability to not just build technology, but to lead the teams that build it, manage the projects that deliver it, and ensure that every product we create solves a real, human-centric problem.
