Sarvesh Shirude

Howdy! I am Sarvesh Shirude, a curious and impact-driven data professional who enjoys transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support smarter decisions. I earned my Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai, and am currently pursuing my Master's in Management Information Systems at Texas A&M University, Mays Business School.

Before my master's, I worked at HDFC Bank as a Data Analytics Engineer, where I built forecasting solutions that helped leaders plan hiring across hundreds of roles more efficiently and automated key reporting processes to save time and improve accuracy. These experiences strengthened my belief in how data and automation can make large organizations more agile and human-centered.

Beyond my professional work, I have explored my passion for applied AI through research and projects focused on making technology more reliable and useful. My work has included developing systems that combine text, audio, and images to summarize information more accurately, detecting misinformation using social and content signals, and improving the quality of medical images to support better diagnoses. These projects deepened my appreciation for how AI, when designed responsibly, can solve real-world challenges that matter.

As I continue growing in this field, I am excited by opportunities that bring together data science, product thinking, and innovation to create solutions that improve how people and organizations make decisions.
