Lauren Hunter

Hi, I'm Lauren Hunter, a Human Resource Management student at Texas A&M University with a strong academic foundation and a deep commitment to creating meaningful workplace experiences. My passion for HR stems from a desire to support employee growth and foster inclusive environments where people and business thrive together.
I bring a blend of practical experience and strategic thinking to the table. Through internships with Innospec Inc. and United Airlines, I've had hands-on involvement in key HR functions, from enhancing recruitment processes and developing standardized job profiles to screening applicants and supporting high-volume customer service environments. These roles sharpened my communication skills, broadened my understanding of corporate operations, and deepened my interest in talent development and organizational structure.
Beyond my internships, Ive taken on leadership roles that reflect my ability to collaborate and lead with intention. As President and Event Coordinator for the Chinese Language and Culture Club at Texas A&M University, I led a team of 11 officers in executing cultural and educational events, while also creating training materials to ease officer transitions and ensure sustainable leadership. I've also been actively involved in volunteer service through events like Texas A&M's annual Big Event, where I led a team to serve a local residents demonstrating my dedication to community and team coordination.
I' proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite, have completed a Basic Mediation certification. I am continuously developing my skills in communication, leadership, and data-informed HR practice.
