Landon Ellington

My name is Landon Ellington. I am a former Division I student-athlete and a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, where I earned my BBA in Management Information Systems with a minor in Cybersecurity. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Management Information Systems to deepen my understanding of how technology, data, and security intersect to drive organizational success.

As a former student-athlete, I developed discipline, time management skills, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations. These traits have carried over into my academic and professional career, helping me collaborate efficiently, stay focused, and solve complex problems under pressure.

During my internship at Ellington Surgical, I developed and implemented a relational database that enabled employees to look up products and kits efficiently. I also streamlined the inventory workflow and automated the label printing process, improving overall operational efficiency. This experience allowed me to integrate data management and process automation to solve real business challenges and enhance productivity.

I am most passionate about data-driven operations and technology. I enjoy analyzing systems to identify inefficiencies and designing solutions that align with organizational goals. I'm especially interested in how businesses leverage data and emerging technologies to enhance performance and security.

My strengths lie in translating complex technical challenges into practical business solutions, collaborating across cross-functional teams, and performing effectively in fast-paced environments. With my background, I bring a unique blend of technical skills, business acumen, and leadership experience that enables me to make an immediate impact in any organization.
