Howdy! I’m a current Master's student at Texas A&M pursuing a degree in financial management at Mays. What sets me apart from other master students, though, is that I bring a perspective that allows me to evaluate problems from not only a financial standpoint, but a more technical, strategic, and creative standpoint.

I started my undergraduate studies at Texas A&M with a degree in Bioinformatics. Through this, I learned to break down complex biology concepts, work with complex datasets, and use computational tools for problem-solving. One of my most meaningful experiences during this time was my research on the Crape Myrtle Bark Scale. This experience taught me a lot to find answers by working through heaps of genomic data and to present my findings and challenges in a way that others could easily understand.

After my undergraduate degree, I decided to step into the world of Finance, where I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Financial Management. This transition to finance allowed me to strengthen parts of me that I feel like were lacking, and allowed me to build skills in decision-making, strategic planning, and leadership.

Beyond my academics, I value the importance of communication and community. Being a part of my university’s Vietnamese Student Association marketing team allowed me to not only have a creative outlet but also to refine my ability to communicate more clearly, work well with others, and understand branding and identity in an effort to improve community outreach and social media engagement.

Despite all of this, what makes me unique is not just my background, but the way I apply these different worlds of bioinformatics, marketing, and finance into every aspect of my life. I am versatile and adaptive, and bring to the table many different perspectives and ideas that I hope to contribute to future employers. I am motivated by lifelong learning, and hope to thrive in an environment that allows for collaboration while also delivering meaningful results.

So, I would love the opportunity to connect, and we can explore how I can be a meaningful contributor to your team.
