I am currently pursuing a Master of Financial Management at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School. This program will provide me with a strong foundation in financial analysis, investment management, and client-centered planning.
Before entering the finance field, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, where I focused on the operational and business side of agricultural production. While this degree initially grew out of a love for animals, it was within this program that I began to uncover a deeper passion for business strategy, efficiency, and how systems function behind the scenes. That curiosity quickly evolved into an interest in finance—how financial decisions impact long-term outcomes, both personally and professionally.
During my undergraduate years, I was actively involved in student organizations, leadership development, and ministry roles. These experiences were formative in helping me recognize my natural strengths: listening with empathy, building trust, and helping others gain clarity in their goals and values. I found deep satisfaction in walking alongside peers as they evaluated their lives, set intentional goals, and worked toward personal growth. In many ways, these moments mirrored the relationship-building and goal-setting work that financial advisors do every day with their clients.
Through this intersection of people-focused leadership and finance, I discovered financial planning as the ideal career path. It allows me to serve others while engaging with the analytical, numbers-driven side of my personality. I am particularly drawn to the relational aspect of the profession—the opportunity to truly understand people’s lives, values, and aspirations, and help them design financial plans that support their unique visions for the future.
As I move forward in my career, I am seeking a role in financial planning or wealth management where I can continue to serve individuals and families while applying my strengths in relationship-building and financial analysis.
I’d welcome the chance to learn more about opportunities that blend customer relationships with financial expertise
