Howdy! In a rapidly growing technological world, technical competence is only half of the equation. I am a future MS in Management Information Systems graduate who aims to bridge the gap between my communication and leadership experiences, with a focus on technology and data. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University, I spent over a year working as an Associate Project Manager for a residential construction company in Lufkin, Texas. I had been with this organization for over 3 years at this point. During this time, I gained practical experience with cross-functional coordination, including defining project scope, material logistics, and proactively identifying and preventing problems that exposed our project timeline. I coordinated with clients, suppliers, and work crews to successfully translate our clients' visions into completed projects.
Now, as I pursue my MS in Management Information Systems, I am striving to leverage my experience in leadership, complex problem-solving, and effective communication into the diverse challenges the MIS field offers. I am ready to serve as the bridge between business strategy and technological implementation, ensuring that all project needs are not only functional but also mirror the desires of all end-users.
