Howdy! My name is Emily Hodges, and I am a graduate student in Human Resource Management at Texas A&M University. In my current role, I focus on mentoring and professional development, which have shaped my interest in employee relations and organizational effectiveness. I support the coordination of mentoring initiatives and have helped develop a structured mentoring program for staff.
I have gained hands-on HR experience through an internship at an automotive dealership, where I assisted with payroll, updated job descriptions, and addressed employee concerns. I have also held leadership roles in a women's organization, supporting a large and diverse group. These experiences reinforced the importance of clear communication, fairness, and consistency when working with people.
I am interested in roles focused on employee relations and organizational effectiveness. I enjoy working through complex situations, supporting employees, and helping organizations improve how they design and support the employee experience.
