Drew Weisser

Hi, I'm Drew Weisser, a Master of Real Estate student at Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance and a minor in Economics. I'm interested in real estate investment and development, where I can combine financial analysis and investment strategy to create value across all sectors of commercial real estate.
This past summer, I interned in USAA's Corporate Treasury as part of the CFO Future Leaders Program. I improved risk metrics for the company's pension fund model, supported stress testing for equity and fixed income subclasses, and created daily interest rate forecasts using Bloomberg Terminal. This experience sharpened my ability to interpret trends in equity and credit markets and build robust, data-driven forecasts.
The previous summer, I worked as a Real Estate Analyst Intern at AIC Industrial, where I conducted fund performance analysis across historical investment funds. I presented the results to leadership, organized decades of historical fund data, and built scalable templates with tools like Salesforce, Tableau, and Access. This gave me hands-on experience with how investment decisions play out over the lifecycle of a fund from the deployment of capital to a fund's disposition.
What differentiates me is the combination of real-world, analytic experience with a strong willingness to learn. I thrived in environments like dissecting financial models, evaluating asset performance, and evaluating investment vehicles. I bring strong modeling skills, market awareness, and a curious mindset to every role.
Outside the classroom, I've served as President of the Texas A&M Club Golf Team, growing team participation by over 60% and creating my own operational framework that led to consistent top rankings nationally. It's been a great outlet to learn leadership strategies and work with my other officers.
Looking ahead, I'm seeking opportunities in real estate private equity, especially with firms focused on many different sectors.
