Howdy! I am Ananya, a Management Information Systems graduate student at Texas A&M University with a background in software engineering, QA automation, and Agile product delivery.
My curiosity for systems began early. I was the kind of kid who loved figuring out why something didn't work and finding a way to fix it. That curiosity turned into purpose during my undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering, where I learned how technology can solve real human problems. One defining moment came when I worked on 'Alzhocare', a mobile app designed for Alzheimer's patients and caregivers. Speaking with families and shaping a solution around their needs taught me that empathy is just as important as logic in building meaningful products.
After graduation, I joined Barclays as a Technology Analyst, where I worked on data migration and automation projects for large-scale financial systems. Though I started in QA, I was most drawn to the product conversations, understanding user pain points, aligning technical feasibility with business goals, and improving customer journeys. Collaborating with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders helped me see how well-structured systems and thoughtful design come together to create real impact.
At Texas A&M, my coursework in System Analysis and Design, Advanced Data Management, and Project Management has strengthened this foundation. It's helping me bridge the technical and strategic sides of problem-solving, understanding how to define, design, and deliver products that balance user needs, data integrity, and business objectives. I am especially interested in how AI and low-code/no-code platforms can make digital solutions smarter and more accessible. For me, product management represents the ideal intersection of curiosity, structure, and empathy, a space where I can use my technical experience to shape technology that genuinely helps people.
My guiding principle remains simple: build with empathy for impact. I want to create products that don't just function well, but make life a little better for the people who use them.
