Allyson Lopez

Hello, my name is Allyson Lopez. I am currently enrolled in a masters in Human Resource Management at Texas A&M University's Mays Business School with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a minor in Women's and gender studies. I have worked in many daycares both as a camp counselor and as an assistant teacher, while also being involved in one of my college's only student led art clubs on campus as the director of outreach.

I have practice in communication with people of all ages, not just children, but students and parents as well. Many of my roles in daycare have prepared me to be patient and understanding to many different people. I can also work with many forms of digital communication such as email, GroupMe, and social media which I used to send out information and discuss with students as director of outreach for my student led club. On top of this, I have worked on projects such as organizing events for students, arranging t-shirt creation and sales, and all the way learning to work with my other officers in a team.

As of now, I have an education, and am continuing my learning, but I need an outlet and a place to grow my skills in the workforce. Through the conclusion of my master degree at Texas A&M, I hope to get a role in HR as many of my work experiences and classes have fueled my passion for getting to know how people communicate with each other. Currently, I am looking for an HR internship to grow my experience.

I am always open to new opportunities to learn and grow which can put my foot in the door of HR and give me the experience to fuel my career.
