Achsah Renee Coleman

Howdy!

My name is Achsah Coleman, but I'm known professionally by my middle name, Renee. I'm currently pursuing my Master of Science in Human Resource Management at Texas A&M's renowned Mays Business School. Before beginning this graduate program, my journey began with a focus in education at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and seven years of professional experience in talent and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

My passion for helping people lay the foundation to a thriving life led to my first professional role as an analyst at Public Impact, a national education management consulting firm. After being introduced to talent strategy work, I never looked back. I realized that I felt more empowered helping people flourish and experience success in the workplace.

As I look ahead to my post-graduate journey, I am drawn to human resource roles that utilize my analytic, project management, and cultural competence skills. My analyst background and superb attention to detail have influenced my data-driven approach to my work. However, as an empathetic leader, I value keeping people first.

Ultimately, my main career objective has been and will continue to be the same: to cultivate a supportive space for my colleagues to increase our impact through a collective mission. Therefore, I'm excited about the opportunity to connect and explore how your needs and my skillset align to make meaningful contributions to the world.
